Just off the 170 freeway at Burbank Blvd, (not far from the 134) you will find us at a great sale mixed with everything old and new.  Remember when you went to Mount Rushmore and it was so awe inspiring your jaw dropped and then you forgot to pick up your souvenir mug? Well, now's your chance to complete your collection.   Maybe you are in the mood to hold a tea party with 100 of your closest friends and would like a pretty set of floral china. (or several sets, we have four!)  Take a walk down 1960s memory lane for a few sets of vintage barware and glassware that will have you toasting along with Dean Martin.  LOTS of records, (don't get too excited loyal record followers, most are classical music with a handful of show tunes.)  We are in love with some amazing Spanish Revival furniture, a BIG 60s era stereo console and some other groovy stuff.  If you are filming (TV or Movies), we have a ton of everyday vintage 60s and 70s regular things like soap and paper goods from eras gone by. This is a fun one, see you Friday morning!

If you miss this one (and you shouldn't!) we will see you next week in San Gabriel, lots of gorgeous Asian treasures. May 20-21 find us in Chino Hills for our World Traveler sale, and at the end of the month for another seriously gorgeous stuffed house full of incredible Asian furniture and decor.  We will be back in Arcadia in June, and heading to Encino Hills in July. Can't wait to see you there.

It's going to be a beautiful sunny day in Monterey Park today. Come out and get some sun and find the treasure you have been looking for!  This house is STUFFED with clothes, vintage and new in small sizes for men and women.  Lots of furniture, some groovy mid century stuff, and some great everyday household stuff.  If you are an elementary school teacher, you should definitely come by..  860 Crest Vista in Monterey Park.  Saturday 8-2. This Friday we will be in South Pasadena Fri 9-1 and Sat 8-2.  Lots of pretty home decor, some lovely art pieces, plants and potted orchids, awesome repro Egyptian revival furniture, cute girly furniture, a little of everything. There's another company holding an estate sale just next door, so you can get two for one stop.

Thanks West Covina, Pasadena, Studio City and Woodland Hills. It's been a wild ride for March as we all look forward to a week off to spend with our families.  Come see us in April, we will be back in Arcadia, Pasadena and South Pasadena. February, March, April and May

So fun to see so many of you in Santa Monica this weekend.  We had a great turn out, lovely clients and fabulous weather. An estate sale trifecta!  We are thrilled to have so many wonderful clients to work for in the coming weeks, and hope that you will find something among the treasures we uncover.

We finish out the month of February with a gorgeous two story home in Pasadena. Filled with dolls, doll furniture, doll houses and an amazing collection of paper dolls too. Don't shy away from this one if you are not a doll collector, we have a whole house full of of vintage furniture and clothes, and costume jewelry.  Thursday is dolls and jewelry, Friday and Saturday will be the whole house.

In March we will start the month off with a truly groovy sale FILLED TO THE BRIM with Mayan, Columbian, Mexican and other South American country art and collectibles. Our client was a true collector, and the home looks like a museum/workshop/boutique.  We are all pretty excited for this one.

Second week of March with more details to come we will be in Sherman Oaks in a sparkling clean home with some really pretty things. Rolling into April we are back in our own backyard in Arcadia for some STUNNING furniture finds, and more. Find us again in April in Arcadia, and look for us in May for a very lovely condo filled with treasures from the Far East.

Meet Robby, one of my all time favorite "success" stories. Robby ran an extremely successful white collar business for years. He left his business, and moved to the hillside in the shadow of the HOLLYWOOD sign.  Just one step inside his amazing house, you have been instantly whisked away into a gallery of color and magic and artistic imagination beyond compare.  Robby is truly living his dream like no other I have ever met. We should all be so lucky. Fasten your seatbelts, it's going to be a bumpy ride!

Ok, so the Bette Davis quote from All About Eve is actually "Fasten your seatbelts, it's going to be a bumpy night" but all of us at Penny and Pig are in for a bumpy roller coaster of a ride for February and we can't wait!

For the weekend of the 13th we will be doing one of our favorite kinds of sales. We call these Picker's Paradise Sales. LOTS and LOTS of boxes in the house and garage for you to dig through and discover. We have ONE DAY only, not a ton of prep time and we have to clear it to the walls so bring your pick up truck, boxes and let's get digging!

February 19 and 20 find us in Santa Monica in the home of a former comedy writer from the golden age. Here you will find sheet music, books, pretty antique furniture, home decor items, yard and garage finds and more. Check back with us on the evening of February 15 for our photos. 

Can't wait to see all of our fun doll folks on February 25-27. This two story home in a historic section of Pasadena is FILLED (and we mean FILLED) with dolls, doll clothes, doll furniture, doll supplies, doll houses, doll EVERYTHING!  Plus there are just some nice pieces in this home you won't want to miss.

(here's the boring part....) No purses, wallets only. No one under the age of 18 will be allowed, no exceptions. No Big Gulps or Slurpees - seriously! We do not have public bathrooms. Please bring someone to help you load. We accept credit cards and Paypal, charge tax and give you a receipt.

The Serendipity Sale

I grew up in a house that my grandfather built.  There was a rock fireplace where we sat for family photos, the Easter bunny left baskets for us on the ledge, and my mom (she's 88!) still keeps her favorite things nestled on the stone shelves.  That's it there, on the right. On the left is the fireplace of the house we just finished.  Same 8 inch pine paneling, same harvest gold wall to wall carpeting, same cut river rock fireplace.  All week long I felt like I was at home.  The family we worked for was lovely, and our customers in Torrance are awesome! How lucky we are to do the thing we love the most, with amazing folks all around us. Look for us in Santa Monica, West Covina, and Pasadena in February. It's going to be a barn burner of a month. Can't wait!!!

We have an acupressure bed (so cool!) a groovy mid century bedroom set in amazing condition, a lPioneer aser disc karaoke machine, fabric, 60s pendant lamp and a tension pole lamp, oooh ahhhh.   Lots of little 60s smalls for you MCM collectors! This sale is groovy in every sense of the word.  In the shadow of Lake Hollywood you will find us in this very mod mid-century home.  Our owner collected and had stunning taste.  The photos you are seeing are just the beginning of a really gorgeous sale and we will post more photos Monday night after we start our discovery.  A few of the many treasures include a huge selection of gorgeous pots for outdoor planting, art glass in every color and style, artist originals in several media, (prints, sculptures, glass and more) some pretty silver jewelry, some furniture in excellent condition, gobs of gift wrapping, cookbooks, gourmet kitchen cookware and supplies, 2 fantastic matching tableau flat files, records, and tools.  You really should not miss this one.

Things you should know before venturing out - no handbags - wallets only. Please leave them at home. No one under the age of 18 will be permitted inside.  There is a VERY VERY steep driveway you will need to walk up to enter the sale, and then a full stair case that leads to the main property.
