This month I had the pleasure of meeting up with some old friends who share the love of collecting Blythe dolls. This group of hair dressers, makeup artists, clothes designers, tattoo artists, accountants, graphic designers, ladies (and gentlemen) of leisure, real estate agents, and some other worker bees get together now and then just to hang out and share creative ideas.  

Our team works amazingly hard, we see way more of each other than our own families, and we spend long days on the job.  Not complaining, just reporting, so grateful to be so busy all the time doing something we love so much, but also very happy to spend time with friends and family. As we approach the holiday season, we hope all of you our clients and customers, make time for the people and things that recharge your batteries.

After a steady flow of jobs all across the southland, we are happy to report we will spend the rest of October and all of November close to home in Claremont, San Gabriel (twice!) and Pasadena.

Lots of high end kitchen gadgets, several china sets including a few from Wedgwood and Picard. You will drool over a genuine Picasso etching, 100+ set of Cupola stemware from Rosenthal, designer shoes and clothes, and great furniture/decor items for your home.

Sept 16/17. Fabulous hilltop home in La Canada. Stunning furniture, patio, decor, ridiculously gorgeous spanish style lighting fixtures, 

Sept 22-24. This beautiful Fullerton home has racks and racks of clothing, accessories, hundreds of scarves, hats, shoes, high end dishes, lovely furniture, lots of 80s. Gong to be a shopping extravaganza. SO much fun!

Sept 30, Oct 1.  Come see us in beautiful Bel Air for an amazing home filled with travertine tile tables, impeccable new and gently used menswear and pair of luxury cars.

Oct 7/8 High in the hills of Monrovia there's a fantastic collection of eclectic stuff Lot's of fun here.

Oct 14/15 A magnificent 180 degree view of all of Redondo, leather furniture, an extensive collection of 30s watercolor paintings, taxidermy mounts and better antiques.

Oct 21/22 Two separate sales, both in Arcadia.Both filled with things you will like.

What a great sale, super nice crowd, groovy things to sell and wonderful clients. For us that's an estate sale trifecta!  So great seeing/meeting all of you in Diamond Bar, we had a blast. Fantastic seeing our regular customers and loved meeting new ones.  More stuff for the guys this week in MONTCLAIR Friday and Saturday. Vintage clothes, shoes and accessories, mid century furniture, fun speakers and stereo equipment, vintage barware in excellent condition, rugs, dolls --- including an early ken and midge.  Some super cute vintage clothes, accessories, a little costume jewelry and more.

As always, no purses, wallets only. No one under the age of 18 will be allowed inside. (Strictly enforced) We don't give out the address until the morning of but you can text me at 6 am for it. 818 919 4389 Not far from Sepulveda and the 405 freeway.  There is a steep driveway on this property, so please be physically able to maneuver it.  Bring your own help for loading.

Most folks who call me for information regarding holding an estate sale have never been in the position of liquidating items quickly and are unsure of what questions to ask.  Some have collected a list of great questions for us, but most know to ask only what is our commission rate.

You want to ask four important questions right off the top. What is your percentage rate? How many people will staff my sale? What fees do you have besides percentage? Are you insured?  Most companies won't quote you a percentage without seeing your property first, but many can give you an idea of the range. You want to make sure you are getting all the information that is included in your percentage.

Bienvenidos! Ohayogozaimasu! Welcome to our this sale this weekend in Chino Hills with a fantastic international flavor. Our super client has travelled the world to 32 countries and brought back some amazing souvenirs. There are lovely collectibles, bronzes, tons of decorative pieces, furniture, home decor and more. Lots of new photos this week to come as we get through all the layers. Friday May 20 from 9-1 and Saturday May 21 from 8-2.  As always, no purses or children under 18.

Just off the 170 freeway at Burbank Blvd, (not far from the 134) you will find us at a great sale mixed with everything old and new.  Remember when you went to Mount Rushmore and it was so awe inspiring your jaw dropped and then you forgot to pick up your souvenir mug? Well, now's your chance to complete your collection.   Maybe you are in the mood to hold a tea party with 100 of your closest friends and would like a pretty set of floral china. (or several sets, we have four!)  Take a walk down 1960s memory lane for a few sets of vintage barware and glassware that will have you toasting along with Dean Martin.  LOTS of records, (don't get too excited loyal record followers, most are classical music with a handful of show tunes.)  We are in love with some amazing Spanish Revival furniture, a BIG 60s era stereo console and some other groovy stuff.  If you are filming (TV or Movies), we have a ton of everyday vintage 60s and 70s regular things like soap and paper goods from eras gone by. This is a fun one, see you Friday morning!

If you miss this one (and you shouldn't!) we will see you next week in San Gabriel, lots of gorgeous Asian treasures. May 20-21 find us in Chino Hills for our World Traveler sale, and at the end of the month for another seriously gorgeous stuffed house full of incredible Asian furniture and decor.  We will be back in Arcadia in June, and heading to Encino Hills in July. Can't wait to see you there.

It's going to be a beautiful sunny day in Monterey Park today. Come out and get some sun and find the treasure you have been looking for!  This house is STUFFED with clothes, vintage and new in small sizes for men and women.  Lots of furniture, some groovy mid century stuff, and some great everyday household stuff.  If you are an elementary school teacher, you should definitely come by..  860 Crest Vista in Monterey Park.  Saturday 8-2. There's another company holding an estate sale just next door, so you can get two for one stop.

Thanks West Covina, Pasadena, Studio City and Woodland Hills. It's been a wild ride for March as we all look forward to a week off to spend with our families.  Come see us in April, we will be back in Arcadia, Pasadena and South Pasadena. February, March, April and May

So fun to see so many of you in Santa Monica this weekend.  We had a great turn out, lovely clients and fabulous weather. An estate sale trifecta!  We are thrilled to have so many wonderful clients to work for in the coming weeks, and hope that you will find something among the treasures we uncover.

We finish out the month of February with a gorgeous two story home in Pasadena. Filled with dolls, doll furniture, doll houses and an amazing collection of paper dolls too. Don't shy away from this one if you are not a doll collector, we have a whole house full of of vintage furniture and clothes, and costume jewelry.  Thursday is dolls and jewelry, Friday and Saturday will be the whole house.

In March we will start the month off with a truly groovy sale FILLED TO THE BRIM with Mayan, Columbian, Mexican and other South American country art and collectibles. Our client was a true collector, and the home looks like a museum/workshop/boutique.  We are all pretty excited for this one.

Second week of March with more details to come we will be in Sherman Oaks in a sparkling clean home with some really pretty things. Rolling into April we are back in our own backyard in Arcadia for some STUNNING furniture finds, and more. Find us again in April in Arcadia, and look for us in May for a very lovely condo filled with treasures from the Far East.
